How To Increase Your Fervor In Blasphemous 2

Here are the locations for all five Fervent Kiss items in Blasphemous 2, allowing you to raise your max Fervor!

Blasphemous 2 has many elements in its combat system that enable you to experiment with various builds by trying out different Altarpieces and Rosary Beads. Still, the secret star of the show is the exceptionally potent Prayers that can eliminate even the most formidable foes in the blink of an eye.

Unfortunately, Prayers require Fervor, a resource severely limited in the early goings of your journey. The good news, however, is that you can drastically increase your max Fervor by gathering and handing in Fervent Kisses to Besamanos in the Streets of Wake, making obtaining all five feel mandatory and worth your efforts.

Our first Fervent Kiss is in the Palace of the Embroideries dungeon, near the southeast section and in the room just before the shortcut leading to the Choir of Thorns region. Upon entering this room, you will see a pinkish-red item on the ground.

Pick the item up to have enemies spawn into the room. Clearing the several waves of enemies will grant you your first Fervent Kiss, enabling you to take it back to Besamanos to raise your Fervor by 30, taking it from 150 to 180!

The next Fervent Kiss requires you to possess the Passage of Ash (Double Jump) Movement Ability to obtain it, as it is located in the Repose of the Silent One region, where your journey started.

Upon reaching the region's Prie-Dieu, head west, ascend up the rock platforms, and take the northwest exit. Follow this pathway until you run into the second Fervent Kiss on the ground. Return the to the Streets of Wakes and hand it over to Besamanos for another +30 to your Fervor, taking it from 180 to 210!

From the westmost Prie-Dieu in the Elevated Temple region, you can find the third Fervent Kiss on an isolated platform within the leftmost shaft of the area. However, a breakable floor will be above it, blocking your pathway to it.

To obtain this Fervent Kiss, take the two ladders in the rightmost shaft, then head left until you are above the breakable floor and the Fervent Kiss. Switch to the Ruego Al Alba, then drop through the floor and immediately perform the downward slam to break through the ground.

Aim slightly to the right to land on the isolated platform, allowing you to grab and obtain the third Fervent Kiss. From here, return yet again to Besamanos to receive another +30 to your overall Fervor, bringing it from 210 to 240!

Fervent Kiss number four is easily the most involved one and resides in the pesky Two Moons dungeon. First, head to the region's inverted area, then go to the northeast portion of the dungeon, in the elongated room with the Statue at the bottom.

Once in this room, interact with the Statue and raise the lift until it is level with the bottom of the breakable wall in the middle column, directly to the left of the lift. Stop using the Statue once the lift is positioned correctly, then make your way to the room on your left.

Since you cannot jump and reach the lift, you must get above it using the Fountains. So, use the Fountain in the room left of the Statue, placing you at the rightmost Fountain located near the center of the normal version of the dungeon.

From here, you want to navigate to the Fountain directly across from the one you're currently at, the one on the left-hand side of your map. You can find a diagram of the path you must take in the image above. The Blue Square represents the starting point, with the Orange X representing your goal!

After reaching the leftmost Fountain in the normal portion of the dungeon, you will be taken to the leftmost Fountain in the inverted part of the dungeon. From here, you will need to make your way to the area above the lift you've positioned with the Statue at the beginning of this guide.

The diagram above showcases the pathway you must take to reach the area just above the lift. The Blue Square represents your starting point, with the Orange X representing your goal. Don't get too hasty here. Just reach the area marked on the map above and follow the next steps!

Now that you're above the lift you positioned near the breakable wall earlier, you will need to equip the Ruego Al Alba and perform a downward slam onto the lift to break open the wall.

Before performing the downward slam, ensure you are aligned with the dotted trail of the lift, or you will miss it entirely, causing you to retrace the steps needed to get back above it. However, if you are successful with the downward slam, the wall will break open, enabling you to enter the center column.

Within the center column is the fourth Fervent Kiss, enabling you to turn it over to Besamanos for another +30 to your maximum Fervor, taking you from 240 to 270!

Lastly, the fifth and final Fervent Kiss is found in the Streets of Wakes and is located in the area just to the right of the Merchant in the northwest portion of the region. For this Fervent Kiss, you will need to have both the Passage of Ash (Double Jump) and Mercy of the Wind (Air Dash) Abilities.

Once in the area marked on the map above, jump up to the elevated platforms to find a Mirror and a Statue. Before interacting with the Statue, switch to your Sarmiento & Cenelle (Rapiers). After that, activate the Statue to trigger another Mirror to move toward you from the other end of the room.

From here, jump at the first Mirror and smack it with the Sarmiento & Cenelle to turn into a bolt of electricity, propelling you toward the other Mirror you just called toward you. Perform a mid-air Jump, then Air Dash to the second Mirror, and hit that one with your Sarmiento & Cenelle.

This will send you hurtling toward an elevated platform on the far end of the room with an item on it. To reach it, perform another mid-air Jump, then Air Dash toward it. This will either have you land on the platform directly or you will pull yourself up onto it.

If you miss, you might have to delay your Jumps and Dash slightly, but the idea is generally the same. But you will have to perform the steps above again. Once you know what to do, you will undoubtedly get it on your second or third try!

Pick the item up to receive the fifth and final Fervent Kiss, enabling you to turn it into Besamanos to max out your Fervor by adding another +30 to it, taking it from 270 to a clean 300. You can further extend the use and power of Fervor via Altarpieces of Favour to make Prayers much more potent and take advantage of your dramatically increased Fervor limit!
